Marc Ganzglass' bio

Marc Ganzglass is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BA from Hampshire College and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. In 2011 he opened Space for Art and Industry, a not-for-profit gallery based at the Brooklyn Navy Yard focusing on the connection between art and manufacturing. He has been an artist in residence at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Copenhagen AIR, Kohler Arts and Industry Program and the Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas. He has taught visual art at Bard College, Virginia Commonwealth University and George Mason University and lectured on his work at the National Academy of Art, Oslo, Royal Danish Academy of Art and the University of Copenhagen.
Exhibitions include: Mitchell-Innes and Nash Gallery, New York / Room East, New York / Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Toronto / Hauser and Wirth, New York / Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas / Martos Gallery, New York / Palais Benedictine, Fecamp, France / Young Artists Biennial, Bucharest / LAX, Los Angeles / Parkers Box, Brooklyn / HDLU, Zagreb.
He is represented in New York by Sandra Gering Inc. and has an upcoming show there opening September 18th.
