Two nights featuring a selection of films by some very talented Brazilian artists, all produced in the past five years. The works presented range from documentaries to fiction, animation and experimental films. A majority of the films come from the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais. The city, which is experiencing a creative boom of sorts, is home to a large contingent of filmmakers all working outside the institutions of mainstream Brazilian cinema.
