Hilario Barrero was born in Spain and has been living in New York for the last 33 years. He taught Spanish at Princeton University. He holds a doctorate in the Department of Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures at CUNY and he is a Professor at BMCC, CUNY.

José Antonio Melián can be heard on NY1 Noticias providing simultaneous interpretation into Spanish of civic events, as well as on the Spanish soundtrack of HBO sports specials such as “24/7”, “Hard Knocks”, “Real Sports” and others. He co-produced, stage managed and designed “Araby”, a chamber musical that won the Outstanding Musical Composition award at the last Fringe NYC. He is a member of the Crispy Collective.
