Drawing from his surroundings and everyday life, Dylan combines the mundane urban decay that he sees in the city with surreal images from his imagination. Using landscapes as a starting point he creates a visual poem for the spaces between buildings that go unnoticed and forgotten.
These vacant lots or patches of forest give the viewer a familiar starting point to then go further into the surreal images that Dylan layers upon these forgotten places.
