Terry Berkowitz – For over 4 decades I have been dealing with social and political problems that were, for the most part, invisible within the art context until fairly recently. I was a pioneer in working with injustice of all types as primary material. My works often include interviews as a main component. Sculptural elements are blended with audio (found sound, music, etc.), slide and
film projections, photography and/or video. My work has been shown extensively across the US and internationally.
Janet Biggs is an American artist, known primarily for her work in video, photography and performance. Her work focuses on extreme landscapes and situations, often drawing connections between physical landscapes and psychological, personal, and socio-political dynamics. She has had numerous exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at the Neuberger Museum of Art: SCAD Museum of Art; Blaffer Art Museum; and d’art contemporain de Montréal. Reviews of her work have appeared in the New York Times, the New Yorker, ArtForum, ARTNews, Art in America, Flash Art, Artnet.com, and many others.
Elia Doyle is 19 years old from Sag Harbor, New York. She is currently studying Art History and Anthropology at Purchase College. Having just turned 19, her work focuses on the aspect of growth and transition that often takes place during one’s 18th year with an emphasis on feelings of nostalgia, changing relationships, and growth.
Antonia Oliver graduated from Bard College and is now based in Los Angeles, CA. Her academic background is in Aesthetics and she has curated shows at Bard College, Williams College, and in Los Angeles. She currently works at an art gallery and, in her artwork, is exploring the transformation of everyday objects to reveal their inherent layered nature.
Ruby Jackson received her BA from Bard College in 2015. Since then, she has received the MASS MoCA Assets for Artists matched savings grant and has shown at various locations including Vox Populi (Philadelphia, PA) and The Shed Space (Brooklyn, NY). In addition to those exhibition experiences, Jackson has attended Eastside International’s residency program in Los Angeles and the Vermont Studio Center. Jackson currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA where she has participated in various curatorial projects.
Lena Meginky is a multimedia artist currently working in Brooklyn, NY. Her work explores themes such as figures, shadows, time, movement studies, the internet and dreams. She will pursue a degree in video studies and sociology starting in August at Bard College in Berlin.
Dalila Oliver is currently on a gap year pursuing her interests in environmental art and living in Brooklyn, NY. She plans to study environmental architecture and urban planning when she starts school. Her pieces display little stories through small environments. Using a box as a frame she makes installations that depict her perceptions of family life and togetherness.
Otto is an experimental electronic musician from Brooklyn. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelors in electrical engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
